Gravity Plastics is a proudly South African manufacturer of high-durability plastic packaging for agriculture and food processing. Based in Atlantis Industrial, Western Cape, we combine cutting-edge injection moulding technology with a deep commitment to sustainability and the circular economy.
Gravity Plastics was born from a simple observation: South Africa's agricultural and logistics industries needed durable, affordable plastic products — but the existing options were either imported at high cost or manufactured without regard for environmental impact.
We started with a single injection moulding machine, and our first product was a ventilated berry crate designed specifically for the Western Cape's berry farming industry. Word spread fast — farmers loved the durability, stackability, and the fact that our crates were made from locally recycled HDPE.
Today, we operate from a modern facility in Atlantis Industrial, Western Cape, serving businesses across South Africa and neighbouring countries. Our product range spans berry export trays, avocado crates, and meat processing crates.
